This week we have been exploring expressions - how to combine them, how to identify their parts, and how to generate equivalent expressions. Our learning targets are: I can read expressions using appropriate mathematical terms. I can evaluate expressions using the order of operations. I can use the properties of operations to create equivalent expressions. I can identify equivalent expressions. I can explain what a variable represents. I can use variables to solve problems involving expressions. I can write an inequality to represent a real-world problem. MONDAY: Complete PPT Equivalent Expressions – completing classwork with teacher direction. HOMEWORK: WS (due Wednesday).
TUESDAY: 4-H today WEDNESDAY: Complete PPT – Combining Like Terms - completing classwork with teacher direction HOMEWORK: Terms practice - 2 sided
THURSDAY - FRIDAY - Complete PPT – Introduction to Inequalities in the Real World– - completing classwork with teacher direction. HOMEWORK: Inequality Practice
