Today, a permission slip for our field trip on February 20th to:
Museum of History & Holocaust Education Kennesaw State University 3333 Busbee Drive, MD 3308 Kennesaw, GA 30144 will go home with your student in the important papers folder. Admission is free and students only have to pay the cost of transportation ($8.00). We will leave at 8:30 in the morning...the Museum opens at 10. We will divide the students into 2 groups and create a 3-part docent-guided rotation including (1)The Short Life of Anne Frank film, (2)Parallel Journeys exhibit and the Passport activity. We can finish with (3) V for Victory (WWII) and our Power of Propaganda (American) posters. When we leave the Museum, we will have lunch at the Jr. Varsity which is a couple of blocks away. Students will need to bring money for lunch. Chaperones are unlimited, I just need to know so I can give the office a list of names. REMEMBER, the Museum sends out a teacher to prep the students. Richard Harker will be here Monday, February 9th...two sessions...Group A from 8:15 - 9:15 and Group B from 9:15 - 10:15. You are welcome to come join in and listen. It is very powerful. Just let me know so I can make room for you. THANKS!!!
