If you are interested in becoming a chaperone, please call soon for an appointment to get your fingerprints done! Here are the procedures for scheduling the fingerprints/background checks: **You will need to take your driver's license or some form of identification. **It is $47 per person, and they accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Debit, or money orders. **Please tell them this is for Brighten as a parent volunteer. Parent volunteers will need to call Deborah Couch for appointments at 770-651-2378. She does the fingerprints on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:00-11:00 or 1:30-4:30 Parents,
There have been many technical and logistical issues with the Class Dojo since the beginning of the year. All of the middle school teachers are suspending the consequences for Class Dojo until further notice. We will still enter dings and dongs to help you know what is happening in class. Students will be able to dress down on Fridays until we have all of the issues worked out. Thank you for understanding, The Middle School Teachers Tuesday and Wednesday will be spent reviewing RATIO, RATE, AND UNIT RATE through three center activities.. Today students began working on their end-of-unit project for the five themes of geography. Almost all of the project will be completed in class. Here are the details of the project, some examples, and a rubric...
Today we read over the project and I answered questions. Students brainstormed ideas about their family for 4 of the themes.
TUESDAY HOMEWORK- Describe your house using relative and absolute location. **As a side note...many students did not know their address. This is SOOOO important! Please work with your student to make sure he/she knows their complete address. Wed- Fri..students will continue to brainstorm in class and then begin their poster displaying their information. Keep sending in your MONEY!
