A huge THANK YOU goes out to all of the volunteers who came out to help us move our middle school to our new building.
It rained, cleared, rained again (and again), and our volunteers were the best--smiling and helping out wherever they could!
The staff left with a heart full of appreciation for the
wonderful parents that make up our school.

Here is the next phase of our move in:
On Friday, July 25th from 6:00-8:30 p.m., we will move belongings, textbooks, furniture,etc. into the temporary
classrooms our 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students will
occupy while our new classroom building is being built.
If you can come to the Prestley Mill location to help,
it would be greatly appreciated.
Some items will go upstairs, so be sure to eat a power bar before you come! Please wear closed-toe shoes.
If we do not get everything moved on Friday night, then we will continue on Saturday, July 26th beginning at 8:00 a.m.
We will send an email (late Friday night) to let you
know if we will need to continue on Saturday.
We welcome any dollies and hand trucks to assist! Two of the classrooms are upstairs (no elevator), so if you have a
great idea or apparatus to ease that move, please share!

I hope you are having a great summer so far! We have been very busy getting the buildings ready for you :)
I have a couple of volunteer opportunities (DOUBLE HOURS)!
This Saturday, July 12, we will have a volunteer clean-up day at the Brookmont Campus! I will be there starting at 8 am. We will focus on landscaping. Please bring tools to weed-eat, hoe, trim, rake, etc. (and gloves too) Again, DOUBLE HOURS!! So if you work one hour, you get credit for two! Bring the kids too! We have some areas around the ramps and outside stairs that would be perfect for smaller bodies! Also, we want to pick up trash on the campus.
Next Saturday, July 19th, we are planning to move a lot of furniture from Brookmont to Prestley Mill. Plus, we are moving boxes from the storage pod to the temporary middle school classrooms at Prestley Mill. We will start at 9 am at both locations. If you can help with this, please email Connie Arnold at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will need people at both locations and she is coordinating this so we have the people where we need them! Please let her know what time and what location if you can help. And don't forget - DOUBLE HOURS!!! THANKS!
